Trainings Programs

Prodigy Sportz have tied up with Kerala Blasters Football Club to oversee and execute their Grassroots Training and Youth Development Program for the State of Kerala.

Under the program, a pool of Physical Education teachers drawn up from across the state would be trained to become AIFF Certified Grassroots Instructors by Prodigy Sportz. The training would be conducted in a camp held by Mr. Scott O'Donnell, Head of Academies, AIFF.

Subsequently, the team, along with the PE teachers would conduct Grassroots festivals at various centres in the state. Once the academic year starts, the trained PE teachers would also roll out in-school grassroots training to all the children in the school.

PE Teachers interested in going through the Certified Grassroots Instructor Course may please mail us the details of your experience and a consent letter from your institution mentioning availability of training ground, and their willingness to be part of this program.

Interested Schools, PE Teachers and Students can register through this site or for further enquiries mail us at [email protected] Please mention your respective Expression of Interest as subject line.

Our scouting program aims to find skilled players and give them opportunity to get trained and seasoned by illustrious national and international sports clubs. Through Scouting Program the student gets an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in playing and interacting with the best coaches in the sports industry.

Prodigy Sportz have partnered with Kerala Blasters FC to roll out specialized football training schools in Kerala. The Blasters-Prodigy initiative will follow a central coaching philosophy drafted by the Technical Director of Kerala Blasters FC, and will have specially trained coaches stationed at each school to personally monitor and impart footballing lessons to selected children. The students at Kerala Blasters Football Schools will go on to eventually become part of the Kerala Blasters Youth teams, as well as get selected into the residential academy that is being planned.

Select schools with the best sporting infrastructure and outlook would be chosen across the state to be moulded as Kerala Blasters Football Schools. The program would primarily be a paid program, with students paying a nominal fees on a monthly basis. However, Blasters-Prodigy will make special effort to ensure that the right talent is never left behind for want of money, and will ensure scholarships for the needy.
